Like international litigation, international arbitration is a specialty in and of itself, and in this field too we have demonstrated our leadership.

In addition to representing clients in international arbitrations, Eric Sherby has himself acted as an arbitrator.

When the Israeli Institute of Commercial Arbitration decided that it needed a set of international rules, it turned to Mr. Sherby to draft them.

When the Global Arbitration Review decided that it needed to include a chapter on Israeli arbitration law, it too turned to Mr. Sherby.

The attorneys in our firm have handled numerous international arbitrations, before Israeli arbitrators and before the American Arbitration Association, the International Chamber of Commerce, and the London Maritime Arbitration association. We have also litigated the enforceability of arbitration clauses before Israeli and American courts.

We are regularly contacted by other Israeli lawyers to advise as to matters involving the enforceability of arbitral awards.

Mr. Sherby is the author of “A Different Type of International Arbitration Clause,” which was published by the American Bar Association in the February 2005 (Winter) issue of the International Law News.

Mr. Sherby is a frequent lecturer before business groups in Israel on the topic of international arbitration, and he is a member of the panel of arbitrators of the Israeli Institute of Commercial Arbitration. Mr. Sherby is also an active member of the American Bar Association’s International Dispute Resolution Committee.
